Managing DVM
Dr. Maxwell has been in private practice since she graduated in 1999 from University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery and preventive medicine. When not working, she loves spending time with her husband and 4 children. Her hobbies include fishing and traveling to National parks. Her mini-farm consists of ponies, cattle, goats, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, and 1 duck.

Jenni graduated from the veterinary technician program at Jefferson College in 2002 and has been working at My Vet Animal Clinic since 2000. She feels that the team is like family and feels the same way about our patients/clients. Jenni is the mother of two beautiful girls, Kyrsten and Jayden, four fur babies, and many chickens. In her spare time, she enjoys nature adventures with her family, traveling, and gardening.

Rhonda graduated from Jefferson College in 1994 with an associate’s degree in applied science in veterinary technology. She enjoys working with both our patients and their owners. Rhonda has been on our team for over 28 years as she first began working at My Vet Animal Clinic in 1992. In her free time, Rhonda loves spending time with her border collie named Kenzi.

Registered Veterinary Technician
Lee is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from Jefferson College with an associate’s degree in applied science in veterinary technology in May 2019. She passed her Veterinary Technician National Exam shortly afterward. At home, Lee currently has two Labrador mixes named Shadow and Symba! Her favorite part about being a veterinary technician is the ability she has to help educate clients. When Lee is not at the clinic, she enjoys going to the zoo and spending time with her family.

Gabrielle graduated from Jefferson College in May of 2017 and passed her Veterinary Technician National Exam shortly after. She currently has a German shepherd mix named Scooby Doo (he is her “baby boy”), three cats (Lucky, Dottie, and Flash), and a hedgehog (Hazel Nutmeg). Her favorite thing about being a technician is educating our clients and working with any pocket pets that come in! Outside of the clinic, Gabrielle enjoys going to the zoo and rock climbing.

In March of 2010, Natasha graduated, earning her associate’s degree in veterinary technology from Sanford Brown. She has a passion for working with animals and has a home full of them. When not at work, Natasha enjoys hiking with her dogs and going fishing.

Rachel graduated from Jefferson College with an associate’s degree in applied science in veterinary technology in 2010. She joined the team here at My Vet Animal Clinic in 2009. When not taking care of patients at the clinic, you can find Rachel collecting LEGOs or outdoors at the river.

Sofia graduated from the University of Queretaro, Mexico in 2015 with a Veterinarian Degree. She moved to the States in 2019 and since then she has been working towards getting her license as DVM. Her hobbies include riding bicycles, hiking with her dogs and raising a flock of chickens, turkeys, and geese.

Grace graduated as a veterinary technician from the Midwest Institute and is planning on taking the VTNE to become registered. She has 4 cats at home (Kleo, Monty, Cosmo, and Thomas O’Malley). In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with friends.

Kyrissa is friendly, outgoing, and loves meeting new patients and clients, as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Her love for animals doesn’t stop at work, Kyrissa has a ferret named Timon that rules the roost! Kyrissa started off as a receptionist in 2021 and in 2022 achieved her goal of becoming a technician! On her off time, she can be found fishing, hiking, reading or watching horror films!

Taylor started working in the veterinary field back in 2021 while living in New Mexico with her husband (Tyler) and two dogs (Yoda and Tux). Taylor has always enjoyed helping people and has loved animals her whole life. Her goal is to continue growing her medical knowledge and eventually become a vet tech. She is so excited to join the My Vet family and to be part of your pet’s care! In her spare time, she enjoys going to the aquarium, zoo, and spending time with her husband and their fur babies.

Kai is a 13.5 year old Australian mix. His job started in 2010 and consists of meeting you at the door, lounging in the sun, or begging for food. He enjoys belly rubs, playing ball, and long walks with the family.
Dr. Donald (“Doc”) Griese
Veterinarian
Dr. Griese first established My Vet Animal Clinic in 1992. After opening at the original location in 1992, the practice grew and expanded to its current location in 2013. Dr. Griese is a 1986 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife, Mary, are the parents of three children. They share their home with their cat (Molly), two dogs (Beatrice and Liesel), and many chickens.

Crissy started at My Vet Animal Clinic in 2016 and is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from the veterinary technician program at Jefferson College. Keeping her company at home, Crissy has one dog – a pitbull named Heidi. Besides her love for animals, she enjoys doing anything outdoors, going to the beach, cooking, and St. Louis sports!

Whitney’s love for animals started with large animals. Following farrier school, she stumbled upon My Vet Animal Clinic in the hopes of learning more about the medical side of small animals. She plans on attending school soon to become a veterinary technician. Whitney’s hobbies include riding and training horses, playing with her two labradors, Miley and Dallas, and experimenting with makeup, as well as teaching it to others.

Marisa has been working in the veterinary medicine field for two years. She loves that she can help animals by working with them directly. At home, Marisa has two dogs and two cats which make her life so fun! In her downtime, Marisa loves hiking with her dogs or playing video games with her boyfriend.
Amanda
Receptionist
Amanda is an animal advocate and lover of all things with paws. She’s ready to learn more about our clients/patients and their pets so she can better understand how she can assist them in keeping their pets happy and healthy. Amanda has five dogs, two cats, two foster dogs, and a husband at home. Her daughter is fully grown and lives on her own, so the house is like a mini-rescue. Amanda specializes in senior fosters. Her pets are like her children. She doesn’t just have personal experience with pets; she also has years of veterinary experience and has worked with many local rescues. Amanda’s experience allows her to give recommendations on products like Heartworm and Flea/tick preventions while she delivers customized customer service for any additional needs. She can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

Ashley has come to the clinic with over ten years of customer service experience. She is looking forward to working with animals as she has a boxer and an American bulldog at home. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, especially her daughter.

I started my journey in vet medicine, without experience, as a receptionist at a 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital. I have loved animals all of my life and this career has helped me nurture that love. I have two human kids, both boys, in elementary and high school. I love outdoor activities, water and nerf gun battles, game nights, and especially fall activities. I look forward to meeting all of the wonderful patients and clients at this wonderful clinic.
